Built in: 1888

HISTORY

This three-story home was built in 1888 by G.S. Scott, the owner of G.S. Scott and Sons Insurance. It was turned into apartments and by the late 1970s was in poor condition. Thereafter it was renovated and restored, then turned into a bed & breakfast. The new owners eventually lost this building to the bank. It was then turned into corporate offices as it stands today.

RUMORS

Rumor has it that thIs location was where a triage was situated during the third Seminole war, and the property sits on part of an old battleground. How much of that is true is beyond us. However, we spent a great deal of time here and many weekends along in this great location. It has to be one of the most haunted locations that we have ever experienced in Florida.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The first day I entered the Seven Sister’s Inn I was taken back by its beauty, its old-world charm, and the energies that existed there. I recall seeing an advertisement online for an event being thrown at this location. Without hesitation, I quickly booked myself a room with my friend Jauncho and ventured off. That would be the start of a new adventure in my life that has spanned more than a decade, an adventure filled with surprises, happiness, heartaches, and tears. Yet at the same time so spiritually rewarding.

I remember unpacking my bags in my room and getting myself ready for the night ahead. Then all of a sudden I heard a knock at the door, as I walked over to it and opened it. I was surprised to find, that there before me stood none other than Robb Demarest of Ghost Hunters International. He extended his hand and welcomed me to the hotel. Little did I know at that moment, that I would become great friends with Robb to this very day. Truth be told, he has been a mentor, a friend, a brother and a true paranormal bad boy to heart.

DESTINY

I will say it was not an event that called me here, but something deeper and far more profound. It all stemmed from a dream, from a late-night experience that would haunt me for the rest of my life. Yet that is another story, that has no true bearing on this moment.

That night I met many individuals from the field, some who I would be friends with forevermore, others who I would never see again as we drifted apart in life.

I did capture some questionable EVP evidence that night. It was enough for me to arrange a deal with the owners to return numerous times again. There is something about this old house that will stay with me for a lifetime, something that beckoned me there, and will always be engraved within my soul.
