Location Portfolio:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following is a portfolio of locations which we have had the honor to investigate. We have tried to be as accurate as we can on our findings. We will not claim or validate a location to be haunted without actual proof of such said haunting. To do so solely for popularity\u00a0 goes against our code of ethics.\u00a0 We would also like to state, that just because we personally may have not experienced activity, or attained evidence in certain locations. That does not mean that it may not be haunted, or may not have paranormal activity. It merely means that since we have found no evidence of such said activity, we cannot in good conscience validate those claims.<\/p>\n

Seven Sisters Inn \/ Scott House<\/strong> \u2013 Ocala Florida | (2008)<\/p>\n

The Scott House is a restored Victorian home, Circa 1888, Queen Anne Style, eight guest rooms, office, front entry foyer, separate garage and workshop area. In 1986 it was judged as best restoration on Florida. The House may or may not be on the site where a battle between soldiers and Seminole Indians took place. The original house was built in 1888 but burned down.<\/p>\n

Seven Sisters Inn, Rheinauer House<\/strong> \u2013 Ocala Florida | (2008\/2009)<\/p>\n

International House (purple) was built in 1892 and was the family home for entrepreneur and influential Ocala citizen Charles Rheinauer and his wife Emma. The couple moved in to the house in 1895 and remained there until they each died 30 or 40 years later. It is believed the house was possibly built on the very spot of a triage nearby Fort King.<\/p>\n

The Clewiston Inn<\/strong> \u2013 Clewiston Florida | (2009)<\/p>\n

The Clewiston Inn (also known as The Inn<\/b>) is a historic site in Clewiston, Florida, United States. It is located at U.S. 27, west of the junction with CR 832, and is the oldest hotel in the area of Lake Okeechobee. On February 21, 1991, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Named after American<\/b> University in Washington, D.C. and launched in June 1945, the SS American Victory<\/b> served as one of 414 Victory<\/b> ships constructed during World War II. As a replacement for the Liberty ships, the Victory<\/b> class offered greater speed and hull flexibility, leading to the loss of fewer ships.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Stranahan House<\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 <\/b>Fort Lauderdale, Florida | (2009)<\/p>\n

Stranahan House<\/b> is the home of Fort Lauderdale pioneers Frank and Ivy Stranahan<\/a>. Built in 1901 as a trading post and converted into a residence for the Stranahans in 1906, the house is the oldest surviving structure in Broward County. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and today operates as a historic house museum. Frank Stranaham committed suicide in the back of his home during the great depression. It is rumored that him, his brother and Ivy still haunt this location.

The Cassadaga hotel is considered to be one of the best kept secrets of haunted Florida. The magnificent hotel that currently stands in Cassadaga Florida was constructed in the year of 1928. Prior to this, another building stood in its place that was constructed in the latter part of the 1800s. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed the original building in the year of 1926<\/p>\n

Don Vicente Hotel \u2013 <\/b>Tampa Florida | (2010)<\/p>\n

The Don Vicente was originally a Cuban clinic in the early 1900s called \u201cEl Bein Public\u201d a.k.a \u201cThe good Public\u201d. They were a medical building for the Latin residents of Tampa until 1968 when it fell in disrepair. In 2014 it was purchased, gutted, gutted, restored and turned into a quaint hotel.\u00a0 The hotel closed its doors in May 2015, and was supposed to be be converted into office spaces.

El Circulo Cubano<\/b> de Tampa<\/b> (also known as the Cuban Club<\/b>) is a historic<\/b> building constructed in 1917 (to replace an earlier structure on the same site that burned down) to serve as a gathering place for Cuban<\/b> immigrants in Ybor<\/b> City, Tampa<\/b>, Florida. It was designed by Tampa<\/b> architect M. Leo Elliott<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The former Trelles Clinic, now the Ybor Resort and Spa, is housed in a 1904 building. Rumors were that this location was highly active by numerous spirits. Such ghostly phenomenon included everything from a child who tugs on clothing, an apparition of the deceased wife of a doctor to the slamming of doors and windows and a boy named Juan who died there. The clinic was doing illegal abortions, and was known to go against medical standards.

The Italian Club \u2013 <\/b>Tampa Florida | (2010)<\/p>\n

L\u2019Unione Italiana, or The Italian Club<\/em>, was founded in 1894 as a mutual-aid society for its Italian<\/em> members. Its first president, Bartolo Filogamo, was the first Italian<\/em> cigar manufacturer. When it started, the club<\/em> had only 107 members. By November 1935, the amount of members reached 3000.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Old South Florida State Hospital <\/span><\/span><\/span>\u2013 <\/b>Pembroke Pines, FL | (2010)
<\/span><\/p>\n

South Florida State Hospital built in 1957, abandoned in 1994 was known to be a mental asylum. They treated both children and adult and experimented on them. The location was closed due to over medication, violence within by inmates and failure to abide by city code. We were the first team to discover and investigate this location,\u00a0 we spent 2 yrs filming there and investigating.\u00a0 Location has become too dangerous due to asbestos levels and local law enforcement will arrest anyone caught in there.

Old GilChrist Jail \u2013 <\/b>Trenton Florida | (2010)<\/p>\n

The Old GilChrist Jail was built in 1928 and closed in 1968, the building now lies abandoned along with an old house.\u00a0 Rumor has it that some of the deputies who worked died in the line of duty and haunt the halls. It is also stated a young drug dealer was murdered nearby and his body left to rot in the jail until it was later discovered.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Its last role was as a training facility for the Navy and Army during World War II, after which time the Fort fell into disuse and decay. The museum is said to be haunted but the famous Robert the Doll, we prove that was not the story.

The citadel is on the property of East Martello and is a separate structure. Originally built as a Civil War fortification, Fort East Martello has served several purposes over the years. In 1873, construction on East Martello officially terminated. Regardless of their unfinished state, both forts proved advantageous throughout the Spanish-American War, World War I, and World War II. During these conflicts, the government used both Martello citadel towers as radio stations, storage units, and barracks for soldiers stationed in Key West.

The museum is located in the Old Carrabelle City Hall built by local mason Marvin Justiss in 1933 during the Depression as a work program to employ locals. The museum has 4 rooms to display its collections, a large entry hall for special displays, and a workroom\/office for the volunteers to process the incoming artifacts. We have several displays that highlight Local Heroes; the Steamship Tarpon, which was key to building our community in the early 1900\u2019s; and Carrabelle\u2019s \u201cFirst People\u201d, natives who lived here thousands of years ago<\/p>\n

Originally called the Franklin Hotel, the Gibson<\/b> was constructed by James Fulton Buck. It was a classic three story Victorian structure with wrap around porches on the first and second floors. People claimed it was truly haunted, we surely did not come to those conclusions.

The Spanish military hospital is not the actual hospital that stood from the late 1700\u2019s to the year of 1821, but an exact replica. Some state it was built in the early 1800s, we have reason to believe that may not be factual. Never the less there were numerous claims of paranormal activity and thus we decided to see for ourselves what we would discover. We did a filming in this location with Univision TV.

Established in 1906 by Ted Smallwood<\/em>, this Trading Post served a remote and isolated area buying hides, furs, and farm produce in exchange for providing the goods required to survive. Ted Smallwood\u2019s Store<\/em> was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, it remained opened until 1982. The place is rumored to be haunted by Edgar Watson who came to Chokoloskee in the early-1900\u2019s, who was said to have been an outlaw with the Jesse James gang in Arkansas, and to have killed Belle Starr, the \u2018Bandit Queen\u2019 of the Old West.

We had the wonderful experience of spending a night in the inn alone. I awoke to find my bed rocking from side to side by itself, we were the first team ever to enter here.

The Rod and Gun Club<\/em> was originally built in 1864 as a lodge for fur traders at the site of the first permanent white settlement in the area. In 1873 Merchant W. S. Allen opened a general store and dock ion the Barron River where the Rod and Gun Club<\/em> currently stands. The location is beautiful but the upstairs was left in a state of disarray. It was a place for celebrities and presidents during its glorious days.

Built in 1965 by the U.S. Army in response to the Cuban Missile Crisis. This Nike site, like many others, was split into two locations. One was the Launcher area (L), where the missiles were actually located. The Launcher area was located near the Krome INS Facility. The other location was the radar communications and control facility (IFC), where they did targeting and fire control. It was decommissioned in mid 1979 after it was decided that they offered nothing to the security of the nation.<\/p>\n

Castillo San Crist\u00f3bal is the largest fortification built by the Spanish in the New World. When it was finished in 1783, it covered about 27 acres of land and basically wrapped around the city of San Juan. Entry to the city was sealed by San Crist\u00f3bal\u2019s double gates. After close to one hundred years of relative peace in the area, part of the fortification (about a third) was demolished in 1897 to help ease the flow of traffic in and out of the walled city. <\/span><\/p>\n

The old port of the island hotel in Everglades City was built in 1957 as part of Golden Gates estates. It was place to get away and unwind, yet it had a dark and sinister history. As many of the locals would call it the blood hotel for it was rumored that drug cartels would land there DC3s there full of cocaine. It is rumored that the cartels ran the place in the 1980s and those who crossed them disappeared. How much of that rumor is true we do no know. The place is now closed up and in ruins.

Built in 1923 in Lake Worth, Florida, the 106-room Gulfstream Hotel<\/b> is on the National Register of Historic Places. Several developers salvaged the hotel<\/b> from a long-running foreclosure lawsuit and it is currently under renovation. The hotel<\/b> is reportedly haunted<\/b> by the ghost of a six year old girl, we did not find evidence of this.

This was an easy way to get building materials due to the high amount of shipwrecks nearby.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Charles Deering Estate<\/b> (also known as Deering Estate at Cutler<\/b>) was the Florida home of Charles Deering. In 1873 Deering graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served as an officer in the Navy until 1881. Charles Deering died at the age of 75 at his estate at Cutler, at 11:30 P.M. on February 5, 1927.\u00a0 <\/sup>After Charles\u2019 death, the estate was left to his wife and children.

In 1900 the wooden house was built and soon after S.H. Richmond\u2019s wife, Edith, opened the house as an Inn called the Richmond Cottage. Guests who stayed at the Richmond Cottage, according to the 1900 register of the Inn, include Henry Morrison Flagler and James Ingrahm. The Walshes occupied the home<\/em> until their death in 1932. In 1955 it was bought by the Osterhoudt<\/em> family. Mrs. Osterhoudt<\/em> taught first grade at the Old Davie School for 25 years and remained active in the community after her retirement. The Walsh<\/em>\u2013Osterhoudt House<\/em> is among the oldest structures remaining in Davie.<\/span><\/p>\n
